For over sixteen years Bishop Eric Lloyd has uncompromisingly ministered the word of God crossing the boundaries of denomination, countries, and race. This ex-gang member and small time hustler has become one of the most sought-after speakers of his generation. He was educated in the Detroit Public School System and received his ministerial training while serving under District Elder Michael T. Martin of Gospel Tabernacle Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that overflows throughout every facet of his ministry. Having received his mandate from God, Bishop Lloyd obediently fulfilled his calling as senior pastor and founder of Rhema International Church in November of 1998. He's an excellent teacher and preacher, Dean of Education for Lloyd's Theological School of Ministry, owner of Lloyd and Lloyd Graphics, and the Presiding Bishop and Founder of Exousia Worldwide Fellowship of Churches. This fellowship consists of several churches throughout the United States and Canada. A year after organizing EWFC Bishop Eric Lloyd was consecrated to the sacred office of BISHOP by Chief Consecrator APOSTLE ERVIN HICKS, Co-Consecrator BISHOP WILLIE WILLIAMS, and a host of APOSTOLIC FATHERS from across the Country. Lloyd has received certificates from both Kwame Kilpatrick and Kenneth Cockrel, former Mayors of the City of Detroit, and has been honored by the Detroit City Council for his many community and leadership accomplishments. In 2010 Bishop Eric Lloyd was one of four ministers in the entire City of Detroit, MI honored by Rev. Jesse Jackson and the Rainbow PUSH Coalition. Bishop Lloyd is apart of the Sex Education Advisory Council for the Macomb County Van Dyke School District in Warren, Michigan. And he also maintains an extensive schedule of counseling sessions, seminars and speaking engagements in various locations within Michigan and abroad.
Bishop Lloyd has a tremendous passion for God's word coupled with a love for God's people. He aims to build strong churches by strengthening weak families. Bishop Lloyd is also a devout family man. He and his wife, Evangelist Shenita Lloyd have been married over sixteen years and have five wonderful children.

His vision was to build or purchase a facility that will house the sanctuary of Rhema International Church, which will include several offices, a Family Life Center, Elementary School, Day Care, Lloyd's Theological School of Ministry Campus and a daily Food Bank. The vision is finally coming to pass and all honor and glory goes to God. Bishop Lloyd teaches his congregation to work in the spirit of excellence and to always put God first.
